What a brilliant book - I wish I had known of its existence before I started to read the Aubrey/Maturin books. In my reviews of these books I bewailed the fact that the Kindle dictionary was not up to the job of defining some 50+% of the words I wished to see defined/5(). These page booklets feature sight words or 'popcorn' words that cannot always be sounded out, but beginning readers need to readily know. The booklets build upon each other, with the later booklets repeating already introduced sight words. They are loosely coordinated to correspond with themes/seasons as the school year progresses.
